The Buffalo Bills make another dumb mistake against the New England Patriots.

In a play that seemed more suited to a slapstick comedy routine than the gridiron, Bills returner Leodis McKelvin made a costly mistake on a kick return after the Patriots third-quarter touchdown.

McKelvin’s job was to hold on to the ball and run it towards the Patriots end zone. Instead, he fumbled the ball, which resulted in a series of bumbles and bobbles, that ultimately ended with the Patriots’ Jonathan Freeny recovering the ball at the Bills’ 30-yard line. The result of the turnover? Three more points for New England, putting the post-fumble score at 20-10.

Bills fans expressed frustration on Twitter, while Patriots fans trolled the hapless kick returner.

Meanwhile, the Bills’ favorite play seems to be the Three and Out. Not a way to win a game against a division rival.
