The party is on in Detroit, as the Lions have extended their lead over the Eagles, thanks to a nice touchdown grab by Calvin Johnson.

No one steps up for Thanksgiving football like Megatron.

For the seventh consecutive Thanksgiving Day, Calvin Johnson has now caught a touchdown pass for the Detroit Lions. This touchdown pass from Matt Stafford was a perfect throw, but an even better catch by Johnson, as he caught it between two Eagles defenders.

The offensive line gave Stafford time to throw and perfect pocket formed for him to put the ball in a spot where only Johnson could grab the football.

After firing their old offensive coordinator and making Jim Bob Cooter the man to call the signals, the Lions offense is beginning to show some life and that’s great news for Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson, as the two are beginning to look just like the past few seasons, when the two were a dynamic duo on the field.

For the Eagles, things are going from bad to worse on this Thanksgiving, and with the rampant rumors of Chip Kelly’s job in Philadelphia, it’s only going to get a whole lot worse.

The Lions playing at home is a yearly Thanksgiving tradition. Calvin Johnson catching touchdowns on Thanksgiving is also one as well.
