After the Dallas Cowboys had a disastrous first half against the Carolina Panthers, Greg Hardy was benched for a time.

It’s just about time to close the book on the 2015 season for the Dallas Cowboys. After the team had a disastrous performance in the first half against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday, the team looks like it isn’t going to be able to recover from the big hole that they have dug this season.

Could it also be the end of Greg Hardy in Dallas? According to Max Henson, after the Cowboys’ poor first half, Hardy came out of the tunnel in the second half without a helmet and promptly took a seat on the Cowboys’ bench.

It’s a strange move considering the Cowboys defense only gave up nine points in the first half, while 14 points came off interceptions from Tony Romo that were returned for touchdowns.

Whatever the case may be, it’s apparent that Hardy may have done something to earn a benching, otherwise he would probably be out on the field. This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on as things unfold.

Whatever ends up happening here, it’s clear things are quickly going downhill for the Cowboys, and that it is about time to put a fork in them.

Perhaps it’s also time to put a fork in Greg Hardy’s career in Dallas.

In an update to the situation here, apparently Hardy was eventually ready to take the field again. Still, this entire story here seems just a bit off somewhere.
