Ben Roethlisberger threw a brutal interception

The Pittsburgh Steelers are locked in a duel with the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field on SUnday evening, and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been playing well. Through three quarters, Reothlisberger has completed 28-of-39 passes with 337 yards. Then, Roethlisberger threw this pass, and lives were changed.

For Roehtlisberger, it was a brutal interception that ended in a touchdown with a blocked extra point for Seattle. Pittsburgh is 6-4 and trying to stay within two games of the Cincinnati Bengals, who lead the AFC North with a 9-2 record. The two teams will play each other once more down the stretch, with the Bengals having already beat the Steelers at Heinz Field.

Roehtlisberger has dealt with all kinds of injuries this season. In Week 3, Big Ben went down with a sprained knee that kept him out for more than a month. In his stead, Michael Vick and Landry Jones played and did enough to keep the team afloat. With Roethlisberger finally back, the Steelers have a legitimate chance of advancing deep into the AFC playoffs, with no dominant team to face in the first round.

Seattle is 5-5 and a loss at home would be crushing to its playoff dreams.
