Jimmy Graham’s season may be over after an injury that clearly looked painful, and fans are already reacting to this unfortunate injury.

Seattle Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham had himself a solid game against the Pittsburgh Steelers that included an acrobatic catch, but it appears that this may be his last game of the season. He suffered what appears to be a knee injury, and he was carted off the field. The Seahawks offense did not receive the sort of boost that was expected this season, but Graham nonetheless emerged as a key weapon for quarterback Russell Wilson.

It is unknown how long Graham will be out, but it can be assumed that this will be a season-ending injury. The Seahawks tight end has been injury-prone throughout his career, as he suffered a shoulder injury in his last season with the New Orleans Saints. He was traded to the Seahawks for center Max Unger and a first-round pick, as the Seahawks were looking to upgrade their pass offense.

The Seahawks are not known for being a pass-first team, as running back Marshawn Lynch has usually been their main weapon on offense. However, the Seahawks offense will be battered going forward since Lynch is also nursing a serious injury. He has a sports hernia that will keep him out for at least a month, but Graham’s injury may be enough to ultimately cripple the Seahawks’ playoff hopes if they cannot defeat the Steelers.

Here are some reactions to Graham’s gruesome injury from fans on Twitter.
