Five NFL teams who should trade for Johnny Manziel

Johnny Manziel’s time with the Cleveland Browns is all but over, but five NFL teams should be willing to give the talented quarterback another chance.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel has had a rough start to his NFL career after an extremely promising college football career. He has a 1-4 record in the NFL and has thrown just five touchdowns while playing in 11 games and starting five of them. Over two seasons with the Browns, Johnny Manziel has thrown for 1,108 passing yards and has completed 57.7 percent of his passes. His passer rating is 78.5. It has become painfully obvious that Manziel cannot and will not succeed with the Cleveland Browns.

That doesn’t mean that his NFL career is over, though; he wasn’t in an ideal situation with the Browns. Five NFL teams could offer him a better situation and should be willing to give the troubled but talented quarterback one last chance. He is just two years removed from throwing for over 4,000 yards while completing 69.9% of his passes and rushing for over 700 yards with Texas A&M in his sophomore year. He is just three years removed from winning the Heisman Trophy as a freshman quarterback.

Manziel deserves one last chance in the NFL because he is so talented.
