Tiger Woods isn’t healthy, and his 2016 does not look promising.

This is the end of an era: Tiger Woods is struggling to recover from his injuries, and Kobe Bryant announced his retirement. Not seeing Woods tee it up on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday makes golf a little less exciting. Something seems to be missing, even with all the young talent currently breaking onto the scene. And that doesn’t seem to be changing.

In Tiger Woods’ press conference on Monday, Woods announced he currently has no timetable on his return to the links.

As reported in The Washington Post, “I have no answer for that, and neither does my surgeon or my physios,” “There is no timetable.”

Only, things aren’t getting better anytime soon, according to Woods, “The hardest part for me is there’s really nothing I can look forward to, nothing I can build toward.” Tiger said. “It’s just taking it literally just day by day and week by week and time by time.”

It came out that Woods has a second microdisectomy on September 16 and he called a “procedure” on the same spot. More unwelcoming news.

Tiger has not committed to a single event so far in 2016, and with the sounds of his press conference looming, his 2016 status does not look promising.

Woods hasn’t hit a golf ball in two months, the last time- “a left handed chip” and spends most of his time playing video games.

The dream of seeing Woods at the Masters in Augusta, Georgia April 7-10 is a dream. The bad dream that you can’t wake up for and keeps coming back, night after night. Woods turns 40 at the end of the month and is currently No. 400 in the world. Two signs, along with his no commitment in 2016, that this could be the end of Woods’ career and that is sad. Tiger needs golf and golf needs Tiger.
