The San Diego Chargers have the worst front-seven in the National Football League. That has to be a point of emphasis in the NFL Draft. If not, then they should look at a tackle to protect Philip Rivers and $83 million contract.

What team wouldn’t want a player who’s 6’6, 318 pounds and has anchored the offensive line for a coach who loves the pro-style system? The answer is none. Every team in existence, from here to eternity would want that kind of a load on the O-line.

Ronnie Stanley can basically be a one-man island at left tackle, protecting the blind side and owning one of the most important positions in all of sports.

Stanley is a team-first kind of player who, despite considerable interest surrounding him last year, decided to return to Notre Dame in hopes of making a championship push. Ever wonder why Deshone Kizer, Everett Golson and Malik Zaire all succeeded for the Fighting Irish? You’re looking at it.
