The Dallas Cowboys unsuccessfully tried to fill the void left by running back DeMarco Murray this offseason with several different players. That ultimately failed, making running back likely the Cowboys biggest need in 2016. Their skid after Tony Romo and Dez Bryant went down also showed a dearth at both quarterback and wide receiver. If skill positions aren’t available (or aren’t a good value), look for the Cowboys to take the best name on the board.

Joey Bosa is a monster. He came into Ohio State with a banner reputation and has never failed to disappoint. He led the team in sacks in 2014 and was seventh in tackles out of the defensive end position.

Bosa is relentless when it comes to rushing the passer, and makes a living in the backfield. He’s a guy who can jump to the National Football League and make an immediate impact. When watching the NFL Draft expect Jon Gruden to extoll and drool all over Bosa’s “mean streak,” as the defensive end is unapologetic about making big hits.

Ohio State’s defense takes a back seat to all the talented skill players on the other side of the ball, but make no mistake, it is the reason for the Buckeyes’ success over the past few seasons. And Bosa is the engine that drives the car.
