There is no question the Dolphins have offensive line problems. Both guard positions are horrible and need to be fixed. Linebacker is another huge need as only one of the 3 linebackers are productive. At cornerback Grimes could be asked to restructure or could get released and they have nothing solid opposite him as it is.

Robert Nkemdiche has possessed an NFL body since he stepped out of high school, and yet it took three years for him to harness the talent to put behind that body.

Nkemdiche is a physical specimen that has the power, speed and burst off the line that will give any offensive line pause. He’s so nimble that Ole Miss Head coach Hugh Freeze occasionally used him in the offensive game.

Scouts will worry about Nkemdiche’s motivation. He has a tendency to disappear in games, and is a player who wears emotions on his sleeve (for good, ill, and disinterest). However, he is too talented to slip beyond the No. 2 overall pick.

Beyond that, Nkemdiche can handle the pressures that come along with such high expectations. He was part of a class that resurrected the Ole Miss program, and has not shirked from being the face of the Land Shark defense.
