The Green Bay Packers might soon be adding another running back to their team.

It’s becoming very clear that the Green Bay Packers are not at all happy with their running back situation.

Despite Eddie Lacy having back-to-back 100-yard rushing games, the running back sat on the sideline the entire night against the Lions. Instead, the team went with James Starks at running back, who almost made an error that could have cost the team big when he fumbled the ball, which the Packers somehow recovered for a touchdown.

Lacy has weight issues that have been noted for some time now, and it’s very clear that the Packers aren’t happy with the way that he has taken care of himself and his body.

With the team having only a Super Bowl on their minds, the team is looking to find a fix at the running back position. That fix could be adding a former running back from Wisconsin.

According to Ian Rapoport, the Green Bay Packers worked out former Broncos running back Montee Ball.

After a lack of production during his time with Denver, the team released Ball. He has been looking for a new home ever since, and he might be finding one soon with the Packers if they like what they saw with his workout.

The team is in need of another back to add to Lacy and Starks, with one having issues holding the ball and the other having issues holding pounds. Ball might not be the best option available, but at this time of the year in December, there isn’t going to be much available for the Packers to choose from when searching for a running back.

The other question to ask is what does this mean for the rest of the running backs on the Packers’ roster? It certainly doesn’t look good for their future as well.
