Dwayne Harris scores on incredible return (Video)

Dwayne Harris has scored an incredible punt return touchdown.

In the battle of New York, the Giants and the Jets are both trying to convince everyone that they are true contenders for the post season. Well, the Giants have just made a major statement through special team expert, Dwayne Harris. The kick and punt returner is electric. He scored a touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys earlier in the season, and has now eclipsed this with a punt return touch down on Sunday.

The Giants defense forced a Jets punt, and Harris collected the ball around the 20-yard line. He found a hole down the left sideline, juked the oncoming punter around half way, and then weaved his way into the end zone to put the Giants up 6-3. The extra point was converted, helping them in their pursuit of the Washington Redskins in the NFC East.

While the Giants chase down the Redskins, the Jets are amid a plethora of teams in the AFC wild card position. Currently sitting at 6-5, the Jets are chasing down the Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans for a wildcard position. The Chiefs have a very easy schedule down the stretch, and the Jets will most likely need to get to 10 wins if they harbor hopes of January football.

That battle of New York still has a long way to go, but with Odell Beckham Jr. hauling yet another outrageous catch, Eli Manning throwing well and now Harris getting in on the action, the Giants have made a good start to staking their claim to dominance in the Big Apple.
