Jaguars at Titans: Full highlights and final score

The Tennessee Titans beat the Jacksonville Jaguars down in Nashville.

42. 35. 39. 52. Final

If you missed this game, then that’s a tough break. Well, unless you’re a defense-oriented kinda person. The Titans and Jags met up for a high-scoring AFC South affair that saw the division’s bottom two squads account for over 80 points and more than 800 yards.

The game was (hopefully) sign of things to come in the NFL. Both Blake Bortles and Marcus Mariota played out of their minds. As did Allen Robinson and Dorial Green-Beckham. In the end, it was the Titans pulling things out at home and giving a glimpse of a bright future (at least on the offensive side of the ball).

And though he doesn’t make the top three players, Green-Beckham needs to be recognized for his 119 yards and one touchdown on only five grabs. On to the highlights.

Highlights

Three Stars

1. Blake Bortles

Blake Bortles continued his emergence in this National Football League. Bortles was a ridiculous 24/36 for 322 yards, five touchdowns and zero interceptions.

2. Marcus Mariota

Much like his counterpart, Mariota had one helluva day on Sunday. Mariota threw for 268 yards on 20/29 passing, and had three touchdowns to only one interception. Beyond that, he racked up an astonishing 112 yards on the ground in only nine attempts.

3. Allen Robinson

If Robinson doesn’t make the Pro Bowl it’s a damn shame. He’s pretty much a lock for a touchdown per game, or in this case three. Robinson’s final line was 10 receptions for 153 yards and three touchdowns.

Odds

Tennessee was favored by 3 and pushed.

Next Week

The Jaguars will take on the Indianapolis Colts at home in Jacksonville, while the Titans will travel up to New York (er, New Jersey) to face the Jets at MetLife Stadium.
