50. <p>The Detroit Lions looked poised to sweep the Green Bay Packers this season after an improbable win at Lambeau Field earlier in the season. The Lions, who have been clicking since the changes in the coaching staff were made, managed to let a win slip away at Ford Field on Thursday night.</p> <p>The Lions were leading 17-0 at the half and 20-0 early in the third quarter when the wheels began to fall off. A pair of touchdowns in the third quarter made it a game and a hail mary pass of 61 yards from Aaron Rodgers to Richard Rodgers at the end of the game sealed the Lions fate and the Packers victory.</p> <p>It certainly was a bucket of cold water on a hot Lions team and one that was unavoidable, though Lions fans will bemoan the call that sunk their team, a controversial facemask that gave the Packers another shot at the end zone.</p> <p>The Lions are 4-8 and probably no longer in the playoff picture even though it was a desperation chance they’d make it in before this game.
