Seahawks at Vikings: Odds, trends and more
Betting odds and trends for the Minnesota Vikings vs. Seattle Seahawks.
The idea of getting no respect has been around forever. Many head coaches have used that tactic over the years in the National Football League with differing results. On Sunday, Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer is likely to use that old standby in the locker room before his team takes on the Seattle Seahawks.
Despite being 8-3 and at home against a 6-5 team, the Vikings are actually 1.5-point underdogs against Seattle, according to OddsShark. The OVER/UNDER is listed at 42.5, with Vegas expecting a low-scoring game.

Minnesota has been undervalued all year by most of the national writers, with most having a tough time buying into a team without many stars. Outside of Adrian Peterson, there is no dominant player in the purple and gold. Still, the Vikings have been able to play good, consistent football, putting them in first place of the NFC North.
Seattle has been all over the map this season, mostly because its championship pedigree is fighting with its horrific offensive line. The Seahawks have done a deplorable job protecting Russell Wilson, but the defense has done enough to compensate. Last week, the Legion of Boom was shredded but the offense stepped up for a change, scoring 39 points in a huge win.
As for trends, Minnesota is 4-1 against the spread at home in its last five games, while Seattle is 1-3-1 ATS on the road over that same period. Overall, the Vikings have covered the spread in nine of their previous 10 contests.
