NBA FanDuel Picks For December 9

We here at Fantasy CPR will work very hard and do everything that we can to bring you articles to prepare you and help you be successful with your bids and games at FanDuel and DraftKings just as we have with MLB and NBA. I always recommend that you do plenty of homework on your own as well as reading our articles. You will also want to make sure that you have access to your FanDuel lineup prior to kickoff in case a player is a last-minute inactive players.

There should be plenty of bargains and great plays in this weeks set of games and we will try to help you to be as good as you can and take home plenty of cash.

Here are my NBA FanDuel picks for December 9:

Next: Point Guards

Dec 3, 2015; Miami, FL, USA; Oklahoma City Thunder guard Andre Roberson (21) pressures Miami Heat guard Goran Dragic (7) during the first half at American Airlines Arena. Mandatory Credit: Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Point Guards:

PG – Goran Dragic – I have decided to run with a bit of a different lineup for this game. Dragic has finally been playing a little better lately and should be good for around 30 fantasy points for us. For his past three games he as been right at 30 fantasy points and I am expecting him to stay there. What we are doing with this lineup is trying to stay on guys who are playing well and right around $5,000 to $7,000 in salary.

PG – Derrick Rose – Rose has been steady averaging around 30 fantasy points per game over his last six games. He has a decent price and he always has the upside to throw down some big numbers. I like him in the match-up against the smaller guard and I expect some solid numbers for him.

Next: Shooting Guards

Shooting Guards:

SG – Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – KCP has been a pretty solid daily leagues play for a guy who only costs $5,200. He has been right around 30 fantasy points per game over his last two games and I like the idea of riding guys when they are hot. Let’s give him one more run and see if we can get the same value.

SG – O.J. Mayo – Mayo has been seeing around 35 minutes per game over his last three contests. With the price tag that he has it will make him a very solid play. If he can get us the 25 points that he has seen over that three game span we should be in very good shape.

Next: Small Forwards

Nov 29, 2015; Charlotte, NC, USA; Charlotte Hornets guard Nicolas Batum (5) shoots the ball during the second half against the Milwaukee Bucks at Time Warner Cable Arena. The Hornets won 87-82. Mandatory Credit: Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

Small Forwards:

SF – Nicolas Batum – Batum has been one of my favorite fantasy plays this year. He should be a good play for this game and I like him across multiple formats. Batum is laced with upside and should help us to reach our goal of getting in the money.

SF – Gordon Hayward – Hayward is one of my favorite players in the NBA. He has been over 34 fantasy points in his last three games and is one of the better values at this position for this game. I like to use Hayward in all formats and I am expecting a big game from him.

Next: Power Forwards And Center

Nov 30, 2015; Salt Lake City, UT, USA; Utah Jazz forward Derrick Favors (15) shoots the ball over Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (23) during the second half at Vivint Smart Home Arena. The Warriors won 106-103. Mandatory Credit: Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

Power Forwards:

PF – Derrick Favors – Favors is playing very well over his last three games. Against the Pacers he had over 54 fantasy points and against the Warriors he had over 42 fantasy points. With Rudy Gobert still out Favors has taken on a larger role for the Jazz and he should be a nice option until Gobert comes back.

PF – Kristaps Porzingis – Porzingis has been nothing short of phenomenal this season. He received some high words of praise from Dirk Nowitzki after their last game where the rookie topped 35 fantasy points. Porzingis is still a nice bargain and should bring us nice value in this game.

Center:

C – DeAndre Jordan – Jordan has been lighting it up for the Clippers over his last few games. He dropped one dud against the Pacers, but other than that he has brought nice value for his price tag. He has had c ouple of games recently where he has topped 40 fantasy points and one over 50. That is nice upside and brings us the kind of potential we need to hit the big money.
