28. Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL. Arizona has done a tremendous job of stockpiling talent both from the draft and through free agency. In recent years, there have been ample success stories on the defensive side coming out of the draft for the Cardinals, including Tyrann Mathieu, Alex Okafor and Patrick Peterson. In this situation, it would be tough for general manager Steve Keim to pass on Scooby Wright, who plays his college football right down the road at the University of Arizona. Wright is already a local hero and would be a welcome addition to a linebacking core that already has studs.

Wright also fits the scheme. The Cardinals love to play downhill, attacking at every chance. Wright is an instinctual player who should be very adept at playing the run and shooting gaps. Arizona could also try to build up the offensive line some more, but the Cardinals have been pouring resources into that for years and have a decent front for the first time in more than a decade. If Wright is there, it would be really tough for Keim to pass on a player who would be both popular and a great fit.
