Should you bet on the Oakland Raiders or the Denver Broncos?
The Broncos are 10-2 and the Raiders at 5-7. On the surface, Denver should be favored by double-digits at home, while lowly Oakland has to play the underdog role once again. While the Broncos are certainly expected to win the contest, the Raiders are being given a fighting chance by the oddsmakers in Vegas.
Denver is favored by 6.5 points and the OVER/UNDER is 43, according to OddsShark. Vegas is basically saying that the Broncos would be in a PICK’EM situation on the road against the Raiders, which seems crazy but might not be that far off base. The Raiders have a good offense and Denver struggles to score points, whether it is Brock Osweiler or Peyton Manning at the helm.
Oakland is also desperate to win the game. Another loss and the Raiders have absolutely no chance of making the playoffs. The Broncos can clinch the AFC West, but need to win and also get a loss from the Kansas City Chiefs.
