Full highlights from the WWE TLC main even featuring Sheamus vs Roman Reigns

It was at the last pay-per-view when Roman Reigns captured the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as the victor in the tournament for the title. However, Sheamus cashed in Money In The Bank to steal the title from Reigns. At WWE TLC in a tables, ladders, and chairs match, Reigns would get his shot to recapture the belt.

Roman wasted little time getting the physicality of the match underway as he hit the champ right in the side of the face with a stiff punch:

Reigns got some offense in after that, but the champ soon got on the offensive and took the action to the floor. He tried to then clothesline Reigns over the barricade, but the challenger countered and sent him flying:

Roman then tried to really take advantage and use the match stipulation to his advantage. Unfortunately, the Celtic Warrior wasn’t standing for that and unloaded on Roman with a chair.

After a brief moment inside the ring again, Reigns took the action back outside the squared circle with a big clothesline. They then mad their way up the ramp as Roman took the upper hand, throwing Sheamus into a slew of tables and chairs before using a chair to strike the champ:

Unfortunately for the face, he got a bit too confident on the way back toward the ring. That left him vulnerable and Sheamus took advantage by sending him through a table and then doing it again.

Trying to retain his title, Sheamus then tried to climb the ladder, but Roman recovered and knocked the ladder from under him. The champ became the aggressor again, though, throwing and drilling Reigns with a ladder:

The challenger at least attempted to fight back by throwing the champ into the steel steps, but Sheamus was ready for a Drive-By and decked Reigns:

The Irishmen then methodically went to work, all culminating with White Noise off the steps and through a table:

Looking half-dead, Reigns somehow got to his feet while Sheamus remained in control. He took the action back into the ring before hitting Roman with a ladder and taunting him. While taunting and then going for another White Noise, Reigns rolled through and somehow mustered the strength for a powerbomb into a flat ladder:

Both men were laid out and then wobbled to their feet where Reigns found some adrenaline with some strikes and a jumping clothesline that sent the champ to the outside. Reigns then busted out a sort of Superman Punch using a chair:

Roman then tried to load up another Superman Punch, but Sheamus countered with an Irish Curse Backbreaker. He then tied Reigns up for the Beats of the Bodhrán, but the challenger caught one of the fists and hit a White Noise of his own onto and through a ladder:

That obviously left both champ and challenger dazed, but then Roman got it together, set up a ladder, and was almost at the top before Sheamus pulled him down. The two then traded turns pulling the other down and hitting strikes before Sheamus pushed the ladder down with Reigns on it. Just as Sheamus climbed again and had his hands on the belt, Reigns rapidly climbed to the top and hit a nasty Superman Punch off the ladder:

This seemingly left Roman alone to grab the title, but the League of Nations pulled him down and began trying to stifle him and help Sheamus. Again Sheamus almost had it before Reigns burst in to pull him down once more. The Irishman wouldn’t be denied, though, as he came down and landed a Brogue Kick:

That was ultimately enough for Sheamus to slowly make his way up the ladder and retain his title at WWE TLC, but Reigns wouldn’t stay down. As the League of Nations celebrated, Roman hit them with a huge Spear and then went after them with a chair to get his comeuppance:

The Authority then had to come out to calm an apoplectic Roman Reigns down. Triple H then stepped into the ring to check on his champ when Reigns lost it again, hitting the COO with a Superman Punch and unloading on the boss with a chair:

The fight then went to the outside where Reigns continued to lose his mind and powerbomb his boss onto the Spanish announce table (which didn’t break):

With Trips laid out on the table Roman then dove from one announce table to the other to hit an elbow drop through the table:

The COO was being carried out after being wrecked when Reigns ran back down from the entrance ramp to hit the boss with a huge Spear:

With the boss laid out, Roman walking out, and Stephanie McMahon shrieking, WWE TLC went off the air.
