Conor McGregor offered role in XXX with Vin Diesel

Conor McGregor has been offered a role in the new xXx movie with Vin Diesel.

Conor McGregor’s star power has exploded over the past year, winning the interim featherweight title at UFC 189 then winning the unified belt against Jose Aldo at UFC 194. McGregor set gate records at each event and looks like he is crossing over into the mainstream, even making an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s show before UFC 194.

Now it looks like he is really closing in on Ronda Rousey territory and Hollywood has come calling, which he claims has been happening for a while. According to TMZ, McGregor has agreed to a role in the new ‘xXx’ movie, the franchise that Vin Diesel originally made famous.

Vin Diesel also had an Instagram post suggesting McGregor was going to be involved in the new movie.

Damon Martin of Fox Sports reports that McGregor has been offered a role but has not accepted it, yet. If we know McGregor, it probably has to do with contract negotiations and pay figures.

TMZ does add that their source says it is a verbal agreement.
