Handicapping is (a lot) more fun when things go well, and Week 15 of the 2015 NFL season was an example of that. Sadly, the Miami Dolphins falling short on Monday kept us from an unblemished 5-0 week, but Sunday was very kind, as the public failed in spectacular fashion.

Now, we must build on what was a nice bounce-back, but before we do that, let’s evaluate where we are at this stage in the year.

  • Last Week: 4-1
  • Season: 38-30-2

Now, to the picks!

Chicago Bears (+5.5) over Minnesota Vikings

Both of these teams have lost two straight, but because the Vikings battled valiantly against Arizona a week ago, this line is probably a bit high. Minnesota is the better team when fully healthy, but they are anything but that right now, yet this line still indicates some level of respect for what they have accomplished to this point in the year.

Beyond that, approximately 70% of the action (via Sports Insights) is on the Vikings here, and we love to fade the public with a live underdog. Chicago is capable of winning outright, and even if they can’t, I expect a close game and a cover.
