Previewing and predicting the Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints.

Detroit is 4-9 and New Orleans is 5-8. Neither one of these teams are any good, and both should be ready for some real changes this offseason. Detroit might be in the market for a new head coach while New Orleans will almost certainly be if multiple reports are true about Sean Payton being on increasingly thin ice.

New Orleans has already fired defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, mostly because the team could not stop a bunch of 10th graders. Meanwhile, Detroit fired its offensive coordinator going into Week 8 and replaced him with something called Jim Bob Cooter. Stunningly, things have not turned around.

So who wins this game? It’s basically a race to 40 points. New Orleans is going to score a ton of points against a secondary that includes Darius Slay. Hell, even Peyton Manning was torched by Slay. On the flip side, Detroit will have absolutely no issue going up and down the field against the Saints, who have the worst offense ever witnessed.

In all seriousness, these two franchises need to figure out how to address holes in the roster. Every year, neither one of them can stop anybody, losing a bunch of games despite scoring 30 points.

Pick: New Orleans 37, Detroit 31
