Kevin Garnett hasn’t played in too many places throughout his career, but his two most memorable stops have been his beginning with the Minnesota Timberwolves and his championship with the Boston Celtics. Tonight, KG returned to Boston once again, but this time in a Wolves uniforms.

As the game came to a close, Boston had a pretty clear lead over the Wolves, and it was very obvious that they were going to come out with the win. In this situation, Boston always plays one clip to the fans as sort of a victory cigar. This video clip is known as Gino time, and Garnett absolutely adores Gino time. He loved it when he was in Boston, and he couldn’t help but look up when he saw it playing once again tonight. KG looking up sparked an impromptu moment of adoration between the Boston crowd and Garnett.

This is really cool, because it’s a reminder that the Boston fans still love KG and everything he did while in a Celtics uniform. It also gave a feeling of closure between the two. Garnett hasn’t officially announced he’s retiring at the end of the season, but many have speculated that this will be his last year as a player. If that’s true, then his last moment with the city he won a championship in was truly perfect.
