Western Kentucky Hilltoppers vs South Florida Bulls
Looking at the Miami Beach Bowl on paper, the intrigue level might not be there for the casual football fan, but this one has the makings of a high-scoring thriller. South Florida boasts one of the best ground games in the country behind sophomore running back Marlon Mack while Western Kentucky has the sixth-best passing game with Brandon Doughty at quarterback.

South Florida is no longer playing second-fiddle to in-state foe Central Florida as the Knights finished the season winless at 0-12 and are stuck at home watching the Bulls play in a bowl game. The Bulls are looking to win their ninth game of the season and staying in Florida to play the bowl game is definitely an advantage.
The Bulls’ Mack has rushed for over 1,200 yards and eight touchdowns this year while his backfield mate, Quinton Flowers, has a team-high 10 touchdowns on the ground with nearly 900 rushing yards of his own.
Western Kentucky’s Doughty is one of the most underrated passers in the entire nation as the senior quarterback currently has 4,594 yards, 45 touchdowns and seven interception while completing 71 percent of his passes. If you want to see a high-powered offensive affair, this is definitely the game to watch and Doughty is your quarterback. Don’t be surprised to see a 44-41 game.
