Indiana Pacers vs San Antonio Spurs

It’s hard to really say which team in the Eastern Conference is the most improved, but the Indiana Pacers are giving everyone a run for their money. However, the 16-10 Pacers will be forced to take their act on the road to play one of the league’s best teams — Indiana is just 6-7 in roach games this season.

Paul George is back to his old form, averaging 26.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game while shooting an impressive 41.6 percent from long-range. Life without Roy Hibbert isn’t so bad, after all, since Jordan Hill and Ian Mahinmi are combining for about 17.6 points and 15 rebounds per contest. This team will really be something special when it can get rookie Myles Turner back.

If it weren’t for an incredible 26-1 start to the season by the Golden State Warriors, the San Antonio Spurs would be flying high in first place right now. The Western Conference is very top-heavy this season and despite the Warriors’ historic start to the year, the Spurs are still just 3.5 games back at 23-5.

Kawhi Leonard is coming into his own, putting up 21 points and 7.5 rebounds per game as the reigning defensive player of the year. LaMarcus Aldridge has proven to be a great addition as well and this team might be as solid as any, top to bottom, in the league.
