Ron Hunter stole the show with his tweet about his son, R.J. Hunter, and his miracle half-court shot.

Boston Celtics rookie R.J. Hunter made the biggest shot of his career on Monday night, when he nailed a half-court shot against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

His shot at the end of the first quarter brought the fans to their feet and reminded many of his ability to make big shots.

Of course, the biggest shot of his career came during March Madness last year, when Georgia State beat Baylor in an epic thriller that had everyone talking about what happened after, when coach Ron Hunter, who had a torn Achilles, fell off his stool in excitement.

Well after his son’s big heave against the Timberwolves, Hunter stole the show with his epic tweet.

Talk about a coach that loves his son. If that tweet isn’t one of the best reactions to R.J. Hunter’s big shots, then what is?

It’s hard not to forget that fateful day when the whole world was watching an underdog team go in and prove they could hang with one of the better teams in college basketball.

It instantly created one of the greatest memories in college basketball history.

Seeing R.J. Hunter make big shots again brings back those memories, and it makes his dad proud to relive them and tweet them too.
