Clay Matthews seemed just a little bit salty in the first half on Sunday against the Cardinals.
The Green Bay Packers are facing off with the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday and, well, to say that things did not go the Packers’ way in the first half of this one would be an understatement. The Cardinals went into the locker room with the commanding 17-0 lead, so you know that Clay Matthews and the rest of the Packers had to be a little salty.
Well, actually, we KNOW that Matthews was pretty salty, because he showed it on the field.
At one point in the second quarter, Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer was knocked to the ground, so Matthews came over to offer some help. Well, or so we thought.
The Packers linebacker extended his hand for the help, but of course, he was just trolling.
Yeah, you might be able to tell there that Matthews was a little salty about Palmer and his offense having their way with the Green Bay defense. But, these things will happen and Matthews might want to deal with it a little better than this. A move like this just makes you seem all kinds of salty as you’re getting it handed to you on the field.
