Los Angeles Clippers vs Washington Wizards
The Los Angeles Clippers are 6-3 against Eastern Conference foes this season and will be looking to get to 7-3 after Monday’s matchup with the Washington Wizards on the road. Unfortunately for the Clippers, there’s next to no shot for them to make a run at the Pacific Division title since they’re currently 11 games out of first place, behind the 28-1 Golden State Warriors.

In any other division, the Clippers would have a shot, but being in the same one as the hottest team in league history dampens any hope. Blake Griffin is picking up where he left off last season, averaging a team-high 23.7 points along with 8.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game. Him, DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul make a heck of a team.
Just a week ago, the 10-14 Washington Wizards were struggling to stay afloat in the Eastern Conference standings and a dry spell would likely end their shot at the playoffs for 2015-16 with how competitive the East has been this season.
Now that they’re on a four-game winning streak, the Wizards look like a new and improved team, ready to strike, sitting just five games out of first in the conference. Bradley Beal continues to be a breakout star for Washington, leading the team with 19.8 points per game and getting his three-point shooting near 40 percent. John Wall is the unquestioned leader, though, averaging 19.5 points and 9.7 assists.
