Eric Bledsoe suffered a knee injury and he could be out for quite a while as we enter the new year.

As if things weren’t going badly enough this season for the Phoenix Suns, they were dealt another crushing blow on Saturday in their stunning loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. Suns star point guard Eric Bledsoe had to leave the loss with a knee injury, again, just to add to the misery of this underachieving team this season.

So now, the questions start to linger as to how much time Bledsoe might actually be missing. Well, according to a report on Sunday from ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, the Suns could be without their guard until after the All-Star break in February.

In 31 games this season for Phoenix, Bledsoe is averaging 20.4 points per game with 6.1 assists. So even for as much as this team has underachieved thus far, they’re losing one of their more productive contributors on the offensive end of the floor.

You can just add this to the list of bad news for Suns fans on Sunday, as reports also surfaced that because of the terrible start, the job of head coach Jeff Hornacek is in jeopardy. That was piled on top the the recent incident that took place where Markieff Morris threw a towel in the face of his head coach, earning him a suspension.

Yeah, things have been better for the Phoenix Suns.
