Really, the Chargers were in the opposite position from the week prior, as the Raiders likely closed out their time in Oakland with a win at O.co Stadium.</p> <p>For the Chargers, it now goes on to bleeding out the rest of this lost season and looking towards brighter times next year. Outside of maybe the Ravens, no team has been blighted more by injuries than the Chargers. At times during this year it felt like an old Madden video game where they’d bring the stretcher onto the field.</p> <p>Spinning forward, about all the Chargers have to play for – other than pride – is to toss a wrench in the playoff plans for the Denver Broncos. The Chargers will play their final game of the year up in Mile High Stadium against a Broncos team really needing a first round bye in order to sew up injuries.</p> <p>Once all the dust settles from the regular season it’s going to be an eventful summer for the team.
