One day, Tom Coughlin will end up in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Coughlin has two Super Bowl wins, taking down two championships with these New York Giants. He will forever be talked about as one of the greats, especially in Gotham where his name will be in the Giants Hall of Fame.

However, Coughlin is going to be fired. The veteran coach has been with the Giants for more than a decade, coaching New York quarterback Eli Manning throughout his entire career. Manning has endured his highs and lows in that position, and he has gone through them with Coughlin.

Now it seems that Coughlin is coaching his last game this Sunday when the Giants host the Philadelphia Eagles. New York has not made the playoffs since winning Super Bowl XLVI over the New England Patriots, and frankly has been awful in that time. Coughlin has been brutal with time management, something that cost the Giants a playoff spot this year.

New York is one of the best places to coach because of the loyalty given from the Mara family, but the time has come for a change.
