Lane Johnson calls Chip Kelly a dictator, among other things

Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson wasn’t too sad to see head coach Chip Kelly go and had some strong comments about him.

Lane Johnson was the first draft pick ever of the Chip Kelly regime in Philadelphia. With Johnson being Kelly’s very first draft pick as a head coach, one would think that Johnson would miss Kelly, after Kelly was fired by the Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday.

Well he doesn’t exactly miss Kelly and it doesn’t sound exactly like he was a fan of Kelly either. In an interview with Daily News columnist Marcus Hayes, Johnson talked about how Kelly had an ego and went as far as to refer to Kelly as a dictator.

Johnson is certainly not the first member of the Eagles to voice their displeasure with Kelly. Some were even doing it while he was still the head coach of the team.

The strange thing is that after Kelly was fired, he talked about how his players meant the world to him. When he was the head coach of the Eagles, he never had anything bad to say about his players, despite former players talking about how much they didn’t like Kelly.

However, with each passing comment from current and former players, such as Johnson, it seems like Kelly really rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.
