Los Angeles Lakers center Roy Hibbert proved again that he is a terrible center against the Boston Celtics.

Believe it or not, there was a time in this world that Roy Hibbert was seen as a good center in this league. He could protect the rim and was an anchor for his team.

Then things went south for him as he was consistently getting bounced in the Eastern Conference Finals. It was as if Hibbert somewhere along the way forgot to play basketball.

Against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night, Hibbert proved that he is indeed just the worst, when he tried one of the saddest drives in the post against Kelly Olynyk.

Hibbert awkwardly dribbled and through his weight into Olynyk, without ever really making an attempt at the hoop. Like a Matthew McConaughey movie, there was a failure to launch.

Olynyk picked his pocket with ease and Hibbert was left to stand there again. This is just one of those plays that shouldn’t be seen by the eyes of anyone.

Roy Hibbert got out of his territory and it looked like he never played an ounce of offense in his life. Then again, there’s not one big Hibbert offensive play that comes to mind.

At least you tried, Roy.
