Raiders at Chiefs: Odds, trends and more
How to bet the Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs.
The Kansas City Chiefs are aiming to win their 10th straight game on Sunday afternoon, this time taking on the Oakland Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs have already beaten the Raiders once during this streak, earning a 34-20 victory with 20 unanswered fourth-quarter points in Week 13.
This time around, the Chiefs are favored by 7.5 points, with an OVER/UNDER of 43.5, according to OddsShark. Believe it or not, Vegas actually feels like Oakland has gotten better or Kansas City has gotten worse since their last meeting, when the Chiefs were favored by three on the road. Had Vegas kept their thoughts even about both, the Chiefs would be a nine or 10-point favorite at home.
The contest is tough to figure because Kansas City has clinched a playoff berth but is still technically playing for the AFC West. Oakland is playing for nothing more than pride, saddled with a 7-8 record and no chance of making it to the postseason.
If you want to bet the game, take the Chiefs. Kansas City is 7-2 during its winning streak against the spread, while Oakland has only covered twice in its last seven games. Also, since Andy Reid has taken over the Chiefs, they have covered the spread four of five contests vs. Oakland.
