Following his last game as a Buckeye, Braxton Miller understandably got a little emotional.Â
The Ohio State Buckeyes came away with a huge Fiesta Bowl win on Friday over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 44-28. For as happy as the win made a lot of people affiliated with the Ohio State program, though, the realization set in that they would be saying goodbye to some great players from this squad.
One of those players, of course, is senior wide receiver Braxton Miller, who showed his emotions following the win.
In one of the post-game interviews that he gave, as he was talking about what Ohio State means to him, Miller started to tear up.
Of course, it’s more than understandable that Miller would get emotional like this. This is one of the greatest players in Ohio State history who genuinely loves this school.
It would have been easy for him to walk away from Ohio State during his final year of eligibility, especially after he lost his starting quarterback spot during the title run season of 2014. However, he chose to not only stick around, but switch his position to wide receiver in the process. There really is no doubt that Ohio State will always have a special place in the heart of Braxton Miller.
And, there will always be a spot in Ohio State fans’ hearts for him as well.
