Cam Newton already is pretty confident in the talents of his newborn son.

2015 was a huge year for Carolina Panthers star quarterback Cam Newton. He led the team to the playoffs earlier in the year, and in the next season, carried the squad to a perfect 14-0 record. However, the Atlanta Falcons would upset them in the second-to-last game.

To top off his year, the NFL MVP frontrunner had a baby boy with his longtime girlfriend. They named him Chosen.

Newton has been talking about his newborn to the media. In a recent interview, Newton said his son doesn’t have the style yet for the dance called “the dab,” but has already received scholarship offers.

“He hasn’t got the style yet,” Newton said. “I’m pretty sure he’s not too far from it.”

Given his father’s talents, many will look to Chosen Newton in years to come to see if he can replicate what’s being done on the field (if he plays football). Cam won the BCS National Championship in 2010, was picked No. 1 overall in the 2011 NFL Draft and has had a pretty successful career in the pros. Will his son do the same? We’ll find out around 2036.

As for Cam, he’ll look to finish out the 2015 NFL season on a high-note and head into the playoffs looking for his first Super Bowl ring in Feb.
