Wilson is one of the more talented wide receivers in the country and is projected to go in the earlier rounds of the draft. If he can put together an impressive combine, he might be able to raise his stock in the draft even higher. Although he had a year of eligibility remaining, it looks like he doesn’t want to pass up the opportunity to go make his mark on Sundays.
He saved one of his best performances for last in the Belk Bowl, where he was a catalyst on offense. Wilson caught five passes for 96 yards on the day. He also had a big touchdown, as the Bulldogs ran all over North Carolina State.
His size will make him an appealing draft prospect in the NFL, as he stands at an impressive 6-foot-5 and is a big target for quarterbacks. He also possesses good hands and can haul in the tough catch, which is a crucial skill needed to be successful at the professional level as a wide receiver.
The Bulldogs will have a tough time replacing Wilson, as receivers like him just don’t come around often. Now can he turn that raw talent into production at the next level?
