Ohio State‘s Ezekiel Elliott tied a Fiesta Bowl record with his fourth touchdown on the day against Notre Dame.
Ezekiel Elliott is not human.
Against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the Fiesta Bowl, the Ohio State running back played absolutely out of his mind. Every time Notre Dame tried to pull themselves right back in the game, Elliott would keep extending the Buckeyes’ lead over the Fighting Irish.
After it looked like Notre Dame had found a little momentum and pulled within seven of the Buckeyes, Elliott busted his fourth touchdown run of the day, which tied a Fiesta Bowl record.
Elliott took the hand-off from J.T. Barrett and sprinted up the middle 47 yards virtually untouched for a touchdown. Elliott not only showcased his power to bust through the line, but he also showed just how quick he is.
"Ezekiel Elliott 47 yards for the TD. His 4th of the day."
This is the last game for Elliott in college, as he’s heading off to the pros where he will likely be the top running back prospect, and the Ohio State star is going out in style.
Each run seems to get bigger and bigger for Elliott, and his 47-yard sprint to the end zone was a huge blow to the Fighting Irish.
