The Tennessee Volunteers won the Outback Bowl, which means everyone gets free food at Outback Steakhouse — but how?
Every year, Outback Steakhouse makes American happy by giving away free food after the Outback Bowl. It’s something that gives us a rooting interest in the New Year’s Day bowl game — and this year we needed something to keep us engaged in a horrible game.
The Tennessee Volunteers blew out the Northwestern Wildcats in an embarrassing showing by the Big Ten representatives. But while fans at Northwestern might be sore over the blowout loss, they can mend their wounds with free Outback food.
Because Tennessee won, Outback will be giving out free Blooming’ Onions tomorrow, January 2nd, nationwide to everyone who comes in. There are some stipulations though that need to be considered before you cash in on your free food.
While the Bloomin’ Onions are free, you need to order something in order to make the appetizer free. This could be a drink purchase, an entree purchase or just about anything, but there needs to be a purchase attached to your order of Bloomin’ Onions in order for them to be free.
That being said, it’s a free appetizer that you are getting for doing absolutely nothing. You don’t even need to be a football fan to cash in on the free appetizer, just show up to Outback and tell your server ‘Outback Bowl’ and your free Bloomin’ Onions will be on their way out.
Make sure you go tomorrow though, as the deal is only valid on January 2nd only.
