Memphis Grizzlies forward Matt Barnes sounded off on Instagram about how terrible his year was in 2015.
Matt Barnes has never been afraid to pull any punches in his career. He’s been in plenty of altercations and isn’t afraid to take on anyone. The guy doesn’t back down, and after the 2015 that he had, Barnes decided to sound off and put everyone on blast.
Barnes took to his Instagram account, where he put multiple people on blast, including his ex-wife, New York Knicks head coach Derek Fisher and Rihanna.
Barnes sounded off on Fisher for getting involved with his ex-wife, sounded off on his ex-wife and even compared it to the triangle offense. He then sounded off on Rihanna, as he claimed she lied about the interest that the two sides had in each other. He also took offense to being traded away from his home in Los Angeles to across the country to Charlotte and then on to Memphis.
It’s easy to see that Barnes had a terrible 2015. Domestic stuff is never easy and it’s easy to see that Barnes got burned along the way in places.
At the end, he acknowledges that there are a lot of people in messed up situations like him and that he’s right there with him.
He’s truly a man of the people.
