Ohio State got one final jab towards their opponents after defeating Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl.
The Ohio State Buckeyes rolled over Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl on Friday. If the New Year’s Day loss for Notre Dame wasn’t bad enough, Ohio State trolled their opponent with a t-shirt worth remembering.
They didn’t just win on the field, but got the upper hand post-game by getting t-shirts made up that say “Champions Today” with the logo of Ohio State below the slogan.

While Ohio State won’t win the College Football Playoff this year, they gave Notre Dame a beat down they will remember until the 2016 college football season begins. Additionally, the Buckeyes commemorated being champions with a t-shirt that will make Notre Dame and their fans salty.
In the end Ohio State won’t be satisfied they weren’t in the College Football Playoff, but they are still champions of the Fiesta Bowl and that should be honored. This t-shirt will make good bulletin board material for the Irish should the two sides meet again in 2016.
However, Ohio State showed they were clearly the better team on New Year’s Day and took it upon themselves to make sure everyone remembers who was a champion today in a New Year’s Day bowl.
