DeMarcus Cousins high-fives George Karl for getting a technical (Video)

After George Karl got a savvy technical while sitting down, DeMarcus Cousins walked over and gave him a high-five.

Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins knows how to get a technical probably better than anyone else in basketball. So when his head coach George Karl got one, game had to recognize game on the court.

While Karl was sitting down on the bench during the game against the Phoenix Suns, Karl did enough to warrant a technical foul.

Cousins was impressed with Karl’s technical game and had to go over and show his coach some love after.

Karl greeted Cousins with a big smile and the two quickly had a bonding moment over their ability to pick up technical fouls. It’s long been rumored about tension between the two, but it’s clear that two have a common ground that they can share on technical fouls.

Just look how proud Cousins is of his head coach right there. It takes a special set of words to pick up a technical foul while sitting down, but Karl was able to pull it off. It wasn’t quite enough to warrant a big high-five, but the low-five is always a major sign of respect on the court.
