Who are the five best remaining MLB free agents heading into 2016?

The 2015 MLB Free Agency class has been shrunk by numerous signings this off-season. A majority of the good pitchers are now gone, but there are still numerous pitchers out there who could provide some great value to any MLB team. There are still plenty of great hitters available, including two of the best home run hitters in baseball.

They say that nobody wins the offseason in the months of November and December. However, they can be won in the months of January, February, and March because that’s when guys start to get a little desperate to find somewhere to play for the season. That means that MLB teams, if they are wise, can find some darn good players at a really good price.

There are still plenty of players out there who can contribute in 2016. Five players in particular stand out as players who should have signed by now, but haven’t for a variety of reasons. Who are they? Let’s take a look.
