Betting giant Bovada has picked their favorites for the 2016 Super Bowl, and it is no surprise which three teams have the best odds.

The 2015 NFL regular season is officially completed and the playoff bracket is now set. While we didn’t have any teams run through the regular season undefeated, we certainly had a few that separated themselves from the pack a bit.

Despite going undefeated until Week 16, the Carolina Panthers seemingly received little love during the regular season, even managing to play as underdogs in the eyes of Vegas on two occasions. However, that has been corrected with the newest Super Bowl odds being released by Bovada. The Panthers are now seen as 9/2 favorites to take home the Lombardi Trophy.

While that may make some feel they are destined to run the gauntlet and bring home the title, Carolina doesn’t hold the “Favorite” title alone. In fact, they share it with two other teams.

The defending champion New England Patriots are also penciled in at 9/2 odds to go back-to-back in 2016. That’s a bold statement about Tom Brady and Bill Belichick in the post season, as the Patriots enter the playoffs having lost two straight and four of their last six games.

The third entry into the 9/2 favorites race if the upstart Arizona Cardinals. The 13-3 Cardinals are about as even a match-up with the Panthers as you can find in the NFC and could represent Carolina’s biggest challenge to reach the Super Bowl. Of course, both have to find a way through the Vikings and Seahawks respectively.
