The best sleepers at each position for DraftKings daily fantasy basketball on Monday, January 4

The weekend is over yet again and that means that the NBA is set to kick back into full swing. After the weekend saw incredibly thin slates of games things will pick back up in a big way on Monday, Jan. 4 as there are 10 games on the schedule. Obviously, that leaves 20 teams in action and 20 rosters for daily fantasy basketball players to build their DraftKings lineups with for Monday night.

Despite the small slate of games throughout the weekend, there were still a number of sleepers that emerged, as there always are on any given night in the league, particularly on Sunday. Lou Williams had a monster night as the Los Angeles Lakers thrashed the Phoenix Suns as the guard—priced at $5,400 on Sunday—exploded for 50.8 points in DraftKings scoring.

Moreover, a pair of New York Knicks players far exceeded their valuation in terms of salary and what they produced. Shooting guard Arron Afflalo had big day while being priced at only $4,500 as he put up 48.5 fantasy points. Knicks center Robin Lopez added 42.3 fantasy points on Sunday as well, despite only carrying a $4,300 price tag.

There are sleepers every night, but nights like Monday with a heavy slate of games are a bit different because those types of players and fantasy options are more frequent. That being said, that also makes identifying the best sleepers on nights like Monday all the more important so that DFS players can find the players that will give them advantage in tournaments and leagues.

As always, be sure to stay up to date with FanSided’s fantasy basketball hub for all your daily fantasy and season-long fantasy needs. The hub is updated daily with advice for both DraftKings and FanDuel in terms of the best high value picks, the best high salary plays, and of course the best sleepers on a given day around the league. For season-long advice, there is advice on waiver-wire pickups and even on nightly lineup decisions.

With that out of the way, these are the best sleepers at each position for DraftKings daily fantasy basketball on Monday, Jan. 4.
