49. <p>If there’s a way to win by losing, then the Green Bay Packers did just that on Sunday night. Yes they lost at Lambeau Field. Yes it was the first time they were swept at home by divisional opponents since the 1960s. And yes they lost the NFC North crown. However all those defeats mean very little in the grand scheme of things.</p> <p>You see, by losing out to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night the Packers saved themselves from having to face, arguably, the hottest team in the NFC, the Seattle Seahawks. Instead, the Packers get a road trip and travel east to face the Washington Redskins – a far less intimidating opponent to be sure.</p> <p>Yet this is not to say that there aren’t serious concerns for the Packers. Aaron Rodgers needs to get back into form, and he’s got a week to find his footing. Rodgers coughed up the ball which directly led to a Vikings score in the second half – what would ultimately be the winning margin. He would also throw a costly pick as his team had a chance to tie with roughly two minutes to go.</p> <p>If the Packers expect to advance beyond the Wildcard Round, then they need to find the offensive magic that disappeared midway through the season.</p>.
