Beast Mode is back.

Marshawn Lynch says he’s all about that action boss. For the Seattle Seahawks to make a third straight trip to the Super Bowl they are going to need a healthy and ready to go “Beast Mode” at running back and it appears that Lynch will be back when the Seahawks head to Minnesota to take on the Vikings in Sunday’s NFC Wild Card Game.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Lynch will be in his usual spot of starting running back for the Seahawks.

Lynch only appeared in seven games for the Seahawks this year, rushing for 417 yards and three touchdowns. It was the first time since the 2011 season that he failed to appear in all 16 games in a season.

Rookie Thomas Rawls took over for Lynch, but he was lost for the season. The Seahawks brought in Fred Jackson before the season, along with bringing back running back Christine Michael, who should be the Seahawks change of pace back for Lynch.

Helping Lynch will be the return of two starting lineman to the lineup. Russell Okung and J.R. Sweezy will be coming back to open holes for Lynch on the offensive line.

Lynch had abdominal surgery on November 25 and hasn’t appeared in a game for the Seahawks since November 15.

A healthy and well rested Lynch is a scary proposition for the NFC with Russell Wilson on fire right now. We’ll see what they get out of Lynch come Sunday.
