. 10-6. 2nd NFC West. Seattle Seahawks. B. player. 36

The Seattle Seahawks look like one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL heading into the playoffs, something that we’ve seen from this team in years past. Russell Wilson is playing out of his mind despite not having Marshawn Lynch or even Thomas Rawls behind him and the defense is performing at a high level. There’s no better evidence of this than how handily they throttled the NFC West champs in the Arizona Cardinals in Week 17.

Had the Seahawks been playing at this level all season, their record would unquestionably be better than 10-6 at the conclusion of the regular season. However, the fact that they are a Wildcard team going into the postseason is because of the incredibly slow start that they got off to in 2015.

Seattle started the year just 2-4 and with nothing that had taken them to the past two Super Bowls working for them. The addition of Jimmy Graham seemed like a bust, Lynch wasn’t his normal, dominant self in the rushing attack, and even the defense looked discombobulated. They put it all together midseason and haven’t looked back since, but the fact that they had such a poor start to 2015 keeps them from getting top marks for the regular season as a whole.
