4. New York Giants

The New York Giants could offer Calvin Johnson one of the better situations should he become available. With $40 million projected in cap space, the Giants could make Johnson a very rich man.

In the New York market, Johnson would get the marketability and endorsements that far outweigh the Detroit market. While Odell Beckham Jr. is the guy in New York now, having Beckham and Johnson as a one-two punch would make Eli Manning’s job easy at the quarterback position.

The Giants will have a new head coach after Tom Coughlin stepped down and are looking for the next great coach in New York.

They aren’t far from getting back to the postseason and with a good draft in 2016, the Giants can make a big step toward getting back there.

Johnson’s career may not be what it once was, but he is still a good receiver and with a good quarterback like Manning and Beckham Jr. lined opposite of him, Johnson would get his chances to catch a lot of footballs and make big plays in the open field for the Giants.

They could very well quickly become one of the most exciting teams in football to watch and a good one at that too.
