Who are the best quarterbacks entering the 2016 NFL Draft? We dissect.

This year, the NFL Draft will be dominated by offensive and defensive linemen. It doesn’t make for the sexiest class in the history of the sport, but that is the way it breaks. Much like in 2013 when linemen dominated the top 10 picks, 2016 looks like a great year to be a team that needs beef up front, and a bad one for franchises in need of perimeter talent.

However, the quarterback position is a mixed bag depending upon your prospective. There are two big names entering into the fray with both Paxton Lynch of the Memphis Tigers and Jared Goff of the California Golden Bears. Then there are ample sleepers and certainly some players who will rise up the ranks as we go through the process. Every year, there are players who show very well at the Senior Bowl, East-West Shrine Game and the NFL Scouting Combine, shooting up the ranks.

So, which quarterbacks are the best prospects? We take a hard look and determine who the first five off the board will be come springtime, when the 32 teams hunker down in their respective war rooms and hope to find the next Peyton Manning and Tom Bradys of the world.
